Violet's check-up & Birthday Cupcakes

We had a check-up with the midwives today. Violet and I are both doing well.
When we got home, we celebrated Violet's Birthday with cupcakes with violet icing and sprinkles. London really enjoyed our little party! She decided to eat her cupcake without using her hands :) Violet slept through the whole thing!

Violet Lane Kinsey has arrived!

Our beautiful little Violet is here! She was born yesterday, April 10th at 2:58AM, and weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. She was 11 days early so we were a bit surprised by her arrival. Her birth was beautiful and everything went just as planned. Our wonderful friend Antionette took care of London for us and brought her back to the Birth Center so that she could meet her new baby sister. She was so excited so see Violet and immediately gave her a kiss. Violet gave London a special gift, Dora PJ's which were a big hit. We all left the birth center together the same day and were at home by noon. We are so happy to have this sweet little addition to our family!
